Silicon Steel C-Cores for 60 Hz and 50/60 Hz Frequencies
The Alpha-Core CD series of C-Cores is suitable for single loop as well as double loop single-phase transformers.
Silicon Steel C-Cores (G.O.S.S.) are cold rolled grain oriented silicon steel. They contain 3% silicon iron and are cold reduced to develop a high degree of grain orientation which gives them numerous advantages over stacked laminated cores.
32 standard sizes are available in stock ranging from 5 VA through 5,000 VA (60 Hz, single loop). Core material is M4-011. Rectangular phenolic tubes are available for all and zinc alloy cast clamping frames for many sizes.
